We have been with Trinidad and Tobago every step of the way in the development of the Point Lisas downstream strategy, and in the evolution of the upstream sector.

We were the first private investors in the nascent methanol sector, the only company to truly go into tertiary high value petrochemical production with UAN and Melamine, and the first to support Trinidad’s only independent local upstream operator, DeNovo, which has pioneered a model for quickly and safely developing stranded gas fields. We have helped to develop a team of world-class Trinbagonian talent to manage, build and maintain our facilities, a model that we believe is the most effective and sustainable way to operate. This expertise has been crucial to the successful building and commissioning of a number of our international projects. We are proud to be the largest employer in the Point Lisas Industrial Estate.

In 2019, Proman Trinidad  and Tobago was formed from the amalgamation of two of our existing businesses Industrial Plant Services Limited (IPSL) and Proman AG (Trinidad) Limited (PAGTT), as well as bringing together operations, finance and engineering and construction expertise from across our Trinidad and Tobago subsidiaries. These changes enabled closer collaboration across all our in-country companies, while strengthening our local leadership pipeline and talent development.
